FREE BLOOD - GALLERY

Free Blood -
Hailing from Brooklyn and formed in 2003 - so their biog points out (this is the only information in their their biog!) - there's not much other stuff about these guys on the net. They don't even have a wikipedia page.. which for some reason gives me some even greater respect for them.
It often happens that bands are passing through London when we're filming and we get tipped off about them but don't really know that much about them.. Such was the case with Free Blood. We made some invitations and they kindly paid us a visit and did their thing .. and I'm so pleased that they did. It's kind of a curious result.. It's not a typical thing for us (two people and a drum machine) and at the time we wondered if it would work with the FTB format - but somehow the directness of the performance comes through in a most unusual way. It looks beautiful and bizarre - I love it. ng
